LIP BLUSH

Lip Blush Tattoo is either a great alternative to fillers or surgery or it can be done in conjunction with these procedures. Many of our clients do both to maximize the effectiveness of lip enhancement treatments.

Whether it is the lip design, shape or color you are interested in, this can help. The lip enhancement includes a soft blending into the lips so there is no line of demarcation. It will enhance the fullness of the lips. This is done in two sessions.

  • Lips appear more defined without surgery or fillers

  • Restores color to lips that have become pale

  • Corrects Blurred lip lines

  • Covers scars and hypo-pigmentation

  • No more “bleeding” lipsticks

  • Make lips appear fuller and larger

  • Eliminates the daily use of pencils to outline, fill-in, or reshaping lip borders

PRE-PROCEDURE

  • Cease using any skin thinners (Vitamin A, glycolic acids, exfoliation) for 6 weeks prior to your appointment.
  • No facial laser treatments or microneedling within 8 weeks of procedure.
  • DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine or take any blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, Niacin, fish oil 72 hours before your procedure, this may cause excess bleeding and may affect your results).

AFTERCARE

  • Immediately after the treatment, lips will be slightly swollen and tender. Color will appear much darker at first.
  • Approximately 6 hours post procedure begin to apply a very thin layer of barrier cream a few times a day to keep lips moist. This will help with tenderness as well as holding in the color. If you do not apply enough cream, your lips will become tight and pigmentation will come out.
  • Please do not pick - lips will exfoliate on their own, usually after 3-4 days. Barrier cream will help with the dry skin.
  • No hot drinks or spicy food for the first day.
  • No lipstick, kissing or direct water for 3 days (drink through a straw).
  • Please do not be worried if you lose color because you can lose 50-80% the first time.
  • Cold sores - if you have ever had a cold sore, you will more than likely break out. This is caused by stress on the lips. Please make sure to take Valtrex starting 5 days prior to your appointment, as well as 5 days after.
